QuestionQUESTION: The leaves on the peach tree's look normal, no curl or turned up edges. They are a good green color and are falling off the tree. We have had a lot of rain this spring in Kentucky. Can you tell me what is causing the healthy looking leaves to drop?
ANSWER: Hi Lamar, Are you watering weekly and not just stopped because you had spring rain? That could cause it. They like a drink but do not want to sit in water. If you are watering make sure it is not too much. Drowing is a slow death, starving of water is a quick death. kathy

QUESTION: Drowning could be the answer as we have had over 6 inches of rain in the past month. As I said earlier we have had a lot of rain, so no need to water. Could the rain volume I am talking about cause the problem? What can I do to save the tree and fruit?
AnswerHi Lamar, The rain surely can hurt your tree. Make sure the ground is level so the water can run off not pool around it would help. You can try a product called Atomic Grow which is organic and will help put your tree back to health. Hopefully you get only the right amount of rain or send it down to FL we could use some here. kathy
