QuestionIs it Okay to use Volck oil spray on rosemary or other herbs?
AnswerDear Mark, It should be ok to use Volck oil spray on the herbs to get rid of overwintered insects in the area, but you shouldn't actually need to. Rosemary and other herbs are usually pest free because of the aromatic oils that are present. They are only rarely affected by anything. So while I wouldn't worry too much if they got caught in the spray drift, I probably wouldn't spray them directly. Be sure to check the label for any date that relates to how long you should wait after spraying to harvest. Since it is basically a petroleum oil product and will degrade rapidly in sun, I might wait 5 days to a week before harvesting, then just wash well. Good luck, Melissa
