Hi. I've planted 3 citrus trees in large pots and am having a problem with my mandarin tree as it's leaves & also new foliage have leaf curl and leaf miner.  Could you please tell me what to use to help with this problem?

Leaf miner can cause leaves to curl, but so can aphids.  If it is the citrus leaf miner, you should see squiggly lines on the curled leaves.  The insect is not a major problem and should not affect fruit production.  However, many people find them aesthetically unappealing.  You can treat the plant with horticultural oil or a product such as spinosid which is available at garden centers.

Aphids can cause the leaves to curl and they are more damaging since they use piercing-sucking mouthparts to feed on the leaves.  They are usually most attracted to young, tender growth.  Aphids can treated by washing them off with a strong spray of water or using insecticidal soap.
