QuestionHello Kathy,
I bought 2 money tree plants in October but one of them is dying. The leaves turn brown and falling off. It still have some new leaves growing but not a lot. The soil is always look wet while another plant is always dry but very healthy. What should I do?
AnswerHi P, You answered your own question, the one that gets the least water is happy while the one you give more to is loosing its leaves. They are almost like a cactus and can get by with very little water. So start by cutting off the water to the sick one. If you have them sitting in a dish make sure the dish has no water in it after 15 minutes remove the water from the dish or that will cause root rot. Check the holes in your pot and make sure the water can drain out properly. If the hole is on the bottom you may have to lift it up a little so it can drain better. kathy
