harsh winter in N.C... ligustrum leaves (yellow) with brown spots -- are curling... had problem last year with one shrub applied sevin but now spreading to others shrubs (5) barks getting stipped bare -- and grow very stunted (shrubs about ll years old -- should be much heartier/taler - bought for privacy   what do I do..

Hi Maureen, Sounds like you may have two problems, one is fungus with is giving spots on the leaves and if the barks are being stripped do you see ants around the area eating the bark?  I would check out Atomic Grow which will bring you shrubs back to health and correct the above problems.  Curling leaves you may see aphids under them.  Atomic Grow is also organic and can be used on all you plants inside and out.  kathy
