I followed the instructions and misted the plant. The liquid fungicide can be used directly. I used the fungicide on my jasmine too but it appears unscathed. Please see attached image.

I am sorry, but I am not familiar with this product being used for managing plant diseases. If you are interested in using organic products for powdery mildew, you may wish to check a product with a similar chemistry to baking soda. It is potassium bicarbonate rather than sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). A trade name is Remedy and is distributed by Bonide. You can go to the bonide.com website to read about it.
