  May I know what is the visible difference btwn fungal/bacterial attacks and bona fide injury(eg. sun/fertilizer burnt)? I often confuse the symptoms of both of them.

You are correct, the two can be confusing and symptoms my overlap.  To be sure, a lab test is required-- culturing from the damaged tissue to attempt recovery of a pathogen- one that can produce these type symptoms.  Many times, just a visual isn't enough to accurately diagnosis.
