QuestionLately I've been noticing these spots and streaks on my tomato seedlings which sort of appears brownish. The seedlings look fine otherwise. The seedling that were planted later appear less affected than those planted earlier which was still a bit cool at the time. I also happen to have a microspope and what I see is what appears to be these blisters. I don't observe any stunted growth or yellow discolorations. I suspect some sort of seedbourne virus do you?. What should I do? I still have plenty of seeds left.
AnswerDaniel:
Can you send me a closeup photo of these spots and streaks? This will help me to understand the symptoms. Try to get as close as you can to take the shot. Be sure to review the shot on your computer to be sure it is crisp and in focus BEFORE you send it..
Do the lesions seem to be spreading? Are they getting worse? Are the spots/streaks on older or younger leaves or both?
What is your source of seed? Saved from last year's plants or bought from nursery/garden center etc?
Regards
Steve
