Steve. If you have a preference versus the tanglefoot product. I would be interested. Also, The small whitish circles appear to be getting smaller. FYI, the reason I thought this was a disease is because I have that smokebush which has some whitish mildew-like substance at the base of the trunk areas(4-5 trunks). I thought this was spreading, rather than a totally different problem. I also saw an unusual pale orange colored ant and thought that it might be a protector of the insects. I saw that when I researched scale insects. Thanx again. HDR.

Not sure how well any of these products work for a bird issue. You may check on the internet for possible remedies. In many areas, this bird is protected by laws and regulations. You can check with your local Game and Fish Commission on the regs.
