QuestionWe have recently transplanted small leaf bamboo from 2 gallon pots to their home in rectangle planters 16"x3ftx3ft half filled with potting soil and some bone meal, gravel and then plywood for filler(it may have been treated plywood). The leaves are now curling and turning yellow.
AnswerHi Soraya, When leaves turn yellow on bamboo they are not getting enough water. In a pot in the summer you may have to water two times a day. Water water water bamboo love it. Keep in mind bamboo is a grass and if you do not water your lawn it turns yellow till you water again...kathy
