Clear sticky liquid oozing from lemon tree

I have a clear sticky liquid oozing from the leaves of my lemon tree...this tree was from a cutting...any help?

Hi Cecelia, you have aphids on your citrus and it sucking the sap from the leaf. It does not matter if it is from a cutting. You need to use a insecticidal spray to keep the critters off. Or you can go organic and use Atomic Grow made from food to make your plant healthy again. kathy
