QuestionKathy,
I pruned our weeping mulberry tree (fruitless) because it had a fungus and it now drips from its pruned areas of the bigger branches. Is this normal or should I really be concerned. I had a tree company spray it with a fungicide recently after I had pruned the tree. Thank you.
AnswerHi Mary, I prune the mulberry bushes all the time and do not think that would be a problem. I do think you may need to get your tree back into health. Check out Atomic Grow which is a fungicide and many other things to help your tree fight off this problem. It is organic and will even make your fruit sweeter. Make sure the area around your tree is clean and not weedy. If you have a sprinkler system you may not want it aimed at the tree, a drip or hand watering is better. Sprinklers bring in fungus. kathy
