Question
I have one in a large pot.  This year all the tiny lemons turned black and hard - about 96% of them.  One or two are growing.  Can you suggest what might be wrong?  I have only fertilized the tree twice this year where last year I started in March and fed it monthly thru August.  Could that have anything to do with this problem?

Hi Veronica, My thought is that they are not getting enough water to form into a fruit and get larger.  Also, do not use miracle grow as it contains salt and chlorine that will hurt your plants even kill them. Lemons are very disease resistant.   kathy
