QuestionI live in the Oklahoma area where we tend to have hot and humid summers. My peach tree fruit has developed something like a semi crystalized slime within the fruit. It reminds me of a trail that a snail or slug leaves behind. I have tried to see if this is a disease but have not been able to find anything.
AnswerJR:
I do not recall any type of disease that resembles this description. If this looks like something clear that is leaking out of the fruit, it may be an exudate coming from a small hole in the fruit made by an insect. Contact your local nursery/garden center for their suggestions as well.
