QuestionCould you please tell me what to do about my Japanese red maple, I have a large section in only the back of the tree which faces my house where the leaves are turning brown and crinkling up, the front of the tree looks fine and health.
My house was washed down with bleach and some other chemicals. and there is a possibility it may have gotten spray on the tree or poured on the ground below this area. So may question is what do I do to correct this?
AnswerElizabeth:
If you suspect an injury from a spray, not much to do except wait. If you suspect a poured on chemical, you might just consider a good deep soaking to hopefully leach away any residual chemical. Just be patient and the tree may recover with a bit of TLC.
