QuestionKathy,
I read your answer from 2009 about brown splotches on a Weeping Mulberry tree in Canada. I live in Missouri. I planted a Weeping Mulberry last spring, it got brown splotches on it's leaves and before I knew it, all the leaves had fallen off from it. It is May here in MO now, my WM looks gorgeous, but I noticed this morning the brown splotches. What is Atomic Green that you mentioned you used and where can I get it. I need to do something, I don't want to lose my tree. Thank you for your answer. Oh, it has been quite damp here this Spring, but we expect it to dry out this week.
AnswerHi Karen, Dampness causes fungus on mulberry trees and also in some areas nematodes. Nematodes clog the roots of the plant and cause a slow death and so will fungus if not treated. Atomic Grow corrects the problems in the plant raising the brix to make it sweeter. The sweeter the plant the healthier the plant. I know of no product that will make a plant so healthy that bugs go elsewhere, leaves become larger, flowers bloom longer, fruit is sweeter, not organic product in a bottle but Atomic Grow will do this. It can be found on the internet. kathy
