Question
I live in Buffalo NY and just noticed that my blue rog junipers have an orange colored "gel like blob" on them.  The blob is about the size on an egg is I would guess that each juniper has 2 or 3 of them.  I have never seen this before ( rugs are 20 years old).  What could it be?

Could you send me a photo of this "blob". I have an idea of what this is , but would like to see a photo to be sure. This could be be very helpful in an identification. Try to get a close up photo if you can and review it on your computer to be sure it is in focus before sending.
