christmas palm

Question
I've had a Christmas palm tree for just over a year. Last winter, it was kept indoors in a brightly lit window and transported outdoors in late spring just before frost. During that time, it did just fine.
This past winter, it was left with 5 queen palms in my heated (45 degree garage). I brought it in after just one month as it didn't seem as tolerant as the Queens. While indoors, I pruned the dead fronds and noticed that one spike (opened up all dried out). What can I do to revive this plant? I have been bringing it out during the day during spring heat spells, then bringing it in.
I want to do everything I can to get it back to its orginal state.
Thank you

Answer
Jodi:
Some of the palms are quite sensitive to colder temps. Check to be sure the soil has dried out or isn't too wet either (wet soils can lead to root rot) and also check to be sure the roots have not filled up the pot and need to be transplanted into a larger container.

Enjoy your spring- nature's way of starting over again!
