Questionok ive had this problem with my plants forever but recently i just got spider mites, i finally got rid of them but only to realize that i still have these tiny white bugs smaller then a grain of rice everywhere in the soil. They are not on the actual plant and are only in the soil. dish soap and repotting wont work so im kind of stuck and i have no idea how to get rid of them.
AnswerHi Kim:
Sending a closeup photo can help me ID these. I have a "bug person" that has an office next to me. Review your image on your computer to be sure it is in focus before sending. In many cases, if the soil is kept moist for long periods, many "critters" start to flourish. If it is feasible, consider swapping the soil out and trying not to keep it too moist. Be sure to use a bagged "store bought" media. Not too much peat moss- this stuff holds water like a sponge!
