QuestionI've had a hoya for 20 years. My daughter took it for awhile and it bloomed beautifuly in a East window. She moved and returned the plant to me. It has not bloomed since (5 years)and only gets longer shoots but no leaves. The leaves on it now are just there, not growing not dying,no blooms. I water as needed and feed african violet food in the summer months. What am I not doing for this Hoya? Thanks
AnswerHi Debbie, You may not be giving it enough sun. Do not cut the shoots that have no leaves as they will get leaves. Water after the plant is dry about 1 to 2 inches in the soil. The fertilizer may be wrong, you need something high in the last number to produce blooms. kathy
