thank you for the information.  what is causing the dry ends on the leaves? if it is not lack of water.  are there specific bug's or disease that could cause this? Should we trim the dry ends or leave them alone?

Root related problems usually cause the tips to brown, especially if this is distributed over most of the plant.  These problems can be several things, including water imbalances (too much or not enough). I would leave the tips as is.
