I have noticed a spider web like cocoon engulfing my tree. I live
in the southern part of Texas. I have not seen this before. What is this and how can it be treated?

Can you describe the size and location of the web on the tree?
If possible, can you send a photo? If you decide to send a photo, be sure to review the photo on your computer to be sure it is in focus before you send. This would give me a better idea of the situation.
