I have a snowball plant in a planter. I want to plant it in my garden. I live in New York. When is the best time to plant it, and what do I have to do to it when I plant it?

Hi John,  As I live in FL I am not sure what a snowball bush is?  What is the botanical name?  If it lives and grows in NY, the rule of thumb would be to plant it not later than the fall, giving it enough time to ready itself for the winter freeze.  If it is more tender, yet will survive, I would plant it in the spring.  kathy
