Question
we have it in a pot,morning sun.Live in upper valley in McAllen,Texas.when we brought it home beautiful flowers n now all brown crispy leaves n no signs of being alive.How much and how often water this plant?IT has been over 100 degrees every day.We've had this plant for 3or4wks.

Hi Fina,  You do not say which one but I guess the tree forms are similar.  They are very sensitive to water.  I put some of my tibouchina outside of the greenhouse so they would be forgotten as not to get over watered and they are doing great.  Scratch the bark to see if you see any green and if you do lay off the watering and maybe water every two weeks unless extremely dry then once a week.  I have been letting nature take care of mine in the pot and they are responding well.  kathy
