QuestionIn a section of my flower bed there is something killing my azalea bush and adjacent to it my Texas Jasmine (not in same bed) is dying, and then adjacent to that a gardenia(not in same bed) is dying. What could be killing them? The grass around this infected area is not dying just these 3 plants.

It would be impossible to determine the "cause of death" without more information and perhaps looking at the individual plants. A couple of questions that you might start with that might rule out some stuff. (1). Do you see anything like physical damage/injury to main stem near the soil? (2)Anything been sprayed on the plants or applied to the soil near these plants? (3) Is it spreading/getting worse and did it happen suddenly or gradual?
I would suggest that you contact your local county Extension office for assisstance. They usually have someone who is trained for spotting problems on horticulture plants. They might be able to come and make a "house call". Their phone number is in the county govt. section of the phone book. If you have trouble finding this information, email me with your STATE and COUNTY of residence and I'll try to find that for you.
