QuestionI live in central Florida (zone 9b) and have a pineapple guava shrub, about 4 feet tall, planted about 2 months ago, on which the tips of the leaves are turning brown and many of the leaves are dropping. There are some spots on the leaves but they are very pale and you have to look very close to see them. Would appreciate your help in figuring out the problem.
AnswerHi Maryann, The problem may be not enough water to get it situated at its new home or fertilizer burn if you used miracle grow or another fertilizer high in salt. Also likes acidic soil and could be a problem there too. Here is what I found out for you: kathy
