Question
Our problem with mealybug infestation has progressed rapidly through two years, and that infestation is overwhelming.  A large honeysuckle covers our back porch on a lattice, and is over 10 feet high.  The first year was bad enough. This year is disgusting.  Clumps of bug colony all over.  White stuff dropping all over the floor.  Terrible to look at.  Last year we tried 'conventional' treatments as are sold from typical garden centers.  They had no effect.  Nicotine has been suggested for an indoor plant, but a 'tea' seems like cooking a really big pot of tobacco for this big of a plant.  Is there anything that can be done?  Might I have to dig up the whole plant and destroy it?

The conventional pesticides only make the plant weaker resulting in more insects as the plants send off stress signals.  You need to increase the brix(sucrose) levels of the plants.  The higher brix levels will make the plant invisible to insects and they will go elsewhere.

Go to www.crowleynursery.net Nursery tab  and get some all natural Atomic Grow.  Its a new product that has a two part function.  Clean the bugs off immediately and increase brix levels by cleansing each leaf to the micron allowing each leaf to produce more sucrose.  It will get rid of your bugs and bring the plants back fast.
