QuestionI have a dutch honeysuckle that has been attacked by a small white grub which is inside the flower heads of the plant. It has ruined all the new heads before they have opened properly. There seems to be a grub in each curled petal. Can you identify the grub and any cure? Thanks.J
Answersounds like fly larva. Similar to a corn ear worm. They go round and round further in to the flower eating everything in their path. I would use some 7 dust. Sprinkle the powder directly on the insects.
You can use salt but it will burn your flowers.
Good luck
