I am having a problem with my peach tree. It has clear gummy material on the fruit. When you grab and squeeze it, it turns green and is hard to wash off your hands. Do you know what this is and how to get rid of it?

Hi Dorothy, I have checked all over and see nothing about gummy fruit only gummy on the trunk.  Your tree is having some problem, you may want to spray with Atomic Grow to get it into the best health it can be.  It is organic and can only help your tree.  Sorry I can be of no further assistance.  kathy
