QuestionSorry to take up so much of your time, but I have just noticed something else regarding my wine grape bonsai plants. Quite a few leaves have small black bumps (not spots) on them. I did have these plants on a table outside for about a week. I am afraid the spots mean some type of bugs.. Do you know what I can do about this.. the plants are dying. Thanks. Cathy
AnswerIf you can put your finger into the soil in the pots and feel the moisture level, I suspect you may be overwatering these plants since they are indoors and not in direct sunlight. Reduce your watering and allow the yellow leaves to drop off. I would not water for at least a week. I would recommend a once a week, (or less until they dry down a bit) watering schedule if you plan to keep these plants inside in a low light situation. The best method to check when to water is actually feeling the soil. It should be moist, not wet, and cool. Once the soil becomes less than moist it is time to water.
