QuestionI live in Arkansas, we have several cedars in our yard that are about 30 years old. I've sprayed them for bag worms a few times over the years but thats about it as far as care. This spring was very wet in our region, the trees were covered with yellowish orange colored, jelly-like balls. now they've hardened and the trees look like there going to die. can I save them?
AnswerHI Scott, Sounds like your cedars picked up a fungus from the spring rains, which is common in cedars. You can spray with a fungicide or go to something organic like Pure Neem Oil spray from Dyna Grow or Atomic Grow which will also help put your trees back into great health. kathy
