Jim is on vacation and i do not know who else to ask.
my pine tree just started dieing this summer.
i just moved here, and i noticed that someone drilled holes 4-5 inches deep 6 inches apart all around it's trunk. the guy who used to live here died and he used to value this beautiful tree. maybe he wanted this tree to die with him.
in any case, the tree still has some green in it but it is dieing fast. is there a way to heal it. it is 30 tall. partly over my neighbor's shed.

Hi Daniel, If Jim is on vacation, you are probably familiar with Atomic Grow and I would use that.  If you can keep it alive the holes may heal.  Did he put the holes in it?  Some pine trees live 20 years and other like a red pine can live 300 years.  So you may want to google to see how long your tree will live.  kathy
