QuestionMy asain pear tree has developed a problem where the bark is separating from the tree and coming off, leaving the trunk bare. Under the bark I notice a variety of bugs. Any clue as to what caused the problem and what I can do to fix it?
AnswerUsually this is a wood boring beetle that will cause a separation. They are a menace for sure. The other bugs are attracted to the sap underneath the bark and may kill your tree all together.
There is a new product on the market that will clean up your problems.
Go to www.atomicgrow.net. I have worked with this product on many commercial properties and it works pretty fast. You will need to spray the cambium layer (bark) both where it has been damaged and the other areas that have not. Also spray the leaves. The product will enable the leaves to work more efficiently at producing sugars for the tree.
It will heal the tree quickly and enable it to repair itself much faster. Atomic Grow will also clean the surfaces of bacteria, bugs, fungus etc.
Good Luck
