QuestionI have these moth like bugs on the bark of my crepe myrtles. I live in Baton Rouge. How do I treat my Natchez crepe myrtles?
Thanks!

These insects have decided to reproduce on your tree probably becaused it is nutritionally unbalanced from any number of things. Insects are attracted to this as it is their job. However they are penetrating the cambium layer of your tree when they attach themselves and may be dissrupting the nutrient flow resulting in a possible loss of leaves and so on. I would recommend a new non-toxic product called Atomic Grow. This product will break the adhesion of these larva and allow you to wash them off the plant. It will also repair the areas that have been affected. You should also see a good bloom set from this product as it will raise the sugar levels of your Crepe Myrtles and rebalance them nutritionally.
