Question
Hello, I planted 2 bare root Harvester peach trees about a month and a half ago.  At first everything seemed normal but then they seemed to wilt and lose their leaves slowly.  Then some new growth appeared and I thought that everything was going to be ok.  Recently both trees have lost all of their leaves and their limbs seem dry.  I water them almost everyday and lately it has been pretty rainy.  They have full sun for most of the day, but it is fairly windy.  Any help would be great.  Thanks.

Hi Dan, I do not know your variety of peach or where you live, but here in Florida we have to be careful about how much water for these trees.  They do not like to sit in water and I have a feeling that you are drowning them.  Also, when watering do not water on top of the trees only sometimes you have to go further away from them so their roots want to find the water and grow.  I hope I am explaining this right.  kathy
