QuestionI have a potted pomelo plant in my front room. Recently, I had repotted it because it was needing a biger pot. I now notice that the leaves have wrinkled up and have started to fall. I try not to water it too much because I can see that water actually seeps out from the soil. Is it dying?
Can you also give some advise as to how I can trim a pomelo plant.
Thanks
AnswerHi Lin, When repotting a new plant water the outside edge of the plant as it dries from the outside in. Alternate by watering the whole plant on occasion. Make sure you do not have a dish underneath with water it in for more than 15 minutes or the plant will rot. Sounds like you are not watering enough. Did you press down the soil so that the plant sits firm in the pot? That way it will hold the water rather than running right thru. A citrus does not need pruning unless you want to keep it smaller or give it a better look. kathy
