QuestionMy mulberry tree is dying. Random tree limbs are dying. First the leaves die and the the limb. The trunk of the tree is okay, but it is turning a whitish-gray. There is an Elm tree located near the dying tree, which is flourishing. Could that have anything to do with it? How can I save this tree?
AnswerYour tree has a severe systemic bacterial infestation. Without doing any testing on your tree I cannot tell you what the root of the problem is. The neighboring tree that is not affected is probably in a healthier state of nutritional balance and therefor is not attractive to pests.
There are a few products and oils on the market that will kill bacteria but will make the tree weaker as a result.
There is a new product on the market called Atomic Grow. This product does not kill anything but it will enable the tree to raise its Brix (sugar) levels by as much as 40%. When this happens the pathogens affecting your tree will no longer wish to be there. As they survive on a unbalanced tree, yours will now be balanced. And this all happens very fast. It is sold by Crowley Nursery in Sarasota Florida. www.crowleynursery.net
This is a Botanical Garden and I believe they can help you with Atomic Grow and with more information about your Mulberry Tree. I have seen Atomic Grow bring Citrus trees back from the grave. Iam sure we can save your tree as well.
Note: Atomic Grow is very systemic. When you receive your product you must spray the cambium layer (trunk, bark) as well as the leaves top and bottom. A total soaking.
