Question
I have a 6 ft, well established key lime tree. Lately I've notices large black , tarry looking spots on the top of the leaves and a whitish, sticky substance on the back. There seems to be less limes also. Help

Hi Fred, sounds like you have sooty mold and white fly. You can spray with and insecticide or I prefer Pure Neem Oil by Dyna Gro which is organic and does not wash off. If there is a fungus in the flowers causing less fruiting it will also correct that without poison. kathy
