QuestionHi,
I have a lemon tree which is kept in doors. It is potted in the appropriate pot, and I have been following the instructions of care. However there is a sticky residue on the leaves and there is only one lemon on the tree and this also has the residue. I am wondering what it is, and how I can get rid of it. I love my tree and I dont want it to die. We live in Ireland.I would appreciate some help. Thanks, Mary
AnswerHi Mary You can very easily take some Ivory or Joy and mix with water and wash the plant off. The black will come off. In time it would be best to get an insecticidal soap. I use Neem Oil from Dyna Gro and it is pure and organic, does not wash off for future protestion. You may not be watering enough or the leaves fall off around the center before they put out new fruit and blossoms. kathy
