QuestionHi, Kathy.
I had this braided money tree for about 6 months.
I just noticed that there is what it seems to be fungus of some sort at the bottom near the soil.
It looks like a thin layer of cotton.
It is not everywhere, but it is on the tree trunk where it meets the soil.
Do I need to get rid of it?
And, if so, how do I get rid of it?
Thanks,
Peter
AnswerHi Peter, I would use Pure Neem Oil from Dyan Grow, it does not wash off and does not kill your beneficials that eat the bad bugs. Once applied you only need to spray the new growth as the old is still protected. Spray the soil and the plant for all over protection. Over time it builds up and protects your yard. It is also a fungicide and a miticide. Also, the money tree does not need allot of watering which could also be causing some of the problem. kathy
