QuestionYes, I know I should not have planted Bradford Pears, but I did. So, I want to give them a more rounded look. Should I trim the center aggressively, and allow the outside areas to grow? thanks
AnswerHi there. You are right but you have to deal with what you have. When we prune them we do a 25-30 crown reduction.Just bring the top down and shape the sides to make the ball shape. Don't worry,if you make a mistake they will grow back more aggressively in a couple years. Happy Thanksgiving,Bill
