Question
I have a mandavilla plant that was taken inside for the winter and after a couple of weeks, now,it is infested with little white flies - like a fruit fly.  And there are white nestlike things on some of the leaves and vines also.
I live in Minnesota and the plant is in the same pot that it was in when it was outside.  There are new vines growing on the plant so it seems to be healthy otherwise.

Hi Cinda, get yourself some insecticidal spray, such as Neem OIl, making sure it is 100 percent pure, which is an organic product.  Spray your plant with this product and it will alter the taste of the leaves so the bug goes elsewhere.  It will not wash off for future protection.  Spray the soil and the pot also.  Once applied you do not need to spray again, and then only on the new growth, if there is a problem.
