Questionmy orange tree was doing finely till last season.but this time flowers developed normally but oranges which developed became yellow prematurely with some brownish aging spot at their attachment to stem and most of them fell off.there was also a hole made at their side by ants. what should i do to prevent it next time?
AnswerHi ruchi, sounds like you are not watering enough. Ants are a sign as they like dry areas, also you may have bugs under the leaves, which would have them crawl up the tree to get to the bugs. You should water at least 3 inches per week minimum. Fruits and flowers need water to bloom and grow. If you don't the fruit will fall off and not mature.
