QuestionNot sure if you can help I live in Perth Australia. I have 5 Gardenia plants in pots outside partly shaded. I moved house 2 months ago so are in slightly diff enviro sl more sun then prev have been very healthy 2 years old but 3 of the plants all the new leaves are developing mis-shapen & wrinkled on the leaf section away from the stem, then turning yellow then black. Is this from too much sun? Or am I overwatering?
Answer Hi Nicole.. sounds like you were not watering enough (yellow leaves) then increased the watering black leaves... have to find the happy medium. Remember when you water the plant dries from the outside in in a pot. So sometimes just water the outside rim and other times the whole thing so the middle gets watered.
