spider webs on small evergreen

Question
My 5' triangular shaped evergreen bush has spider webs on the surface of parts of it.  Those area are turning brown and the needles fall off when I touch them.  What should I do to save the bush?

Answer
The webs may be an indication of some type of webworm.  I would treat the shrub with Sevin insecticide.  This insecticide will kill most worm or caterpillar pests on plants.  If you look into the webbing you may actually see the worms in the web.  If so treat.  If they are actually spiders, the Sevin will run them off as well.  Good Luck.
