QuestionI HAVE A GIANT BOUGAINVILLEA PLANT IN MY YARD... IT BLOOMED FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN A ROW THEN LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR NOTHING...ALL THE OTHERS IN OUR AREA ARE IN FULL BLOOM...MINE APPEARS VERY HEALTHY HUGE THICK AND GREEN...JUST NO HOT PINK BLOOMS...I HAVE FERTILIZED WITH ROSE FOOD...STILL NOTHING...WHAT MIGHT CAUSE THIS...THANKS MELISSA
AnswerHi Melissa. Bougs like full sun, and believe it or not water and fertilizer and as the bloom off the new growth, pruning does wonders to get it into bloom if you have done all the rest. Right after blooming prune back and within a few weeks it is blooming again
