Question
I have recently purchased a 7 foot tall potted chinese fan palm tree.  I am noticing that the lower frond tips are beginning to turn yellow.  I do not see any insects, I have it in a sunny area and I re-planted it in a larger container and thoroughly watered it once in the 3 weeks I have owned it. I have owned another  although different palm tree in the past and once it started turning yellow it eventually died.
can you help?

Dear Amy...I don't know a bunch about palm trees but only watering once in 3 weeks would cause yellow leaves.  At minimum I would water at least once a week.  You don't say where you are from, in FL I would water every day in a pot.  I had our chinese fam palms planted where it was almost wet lands.
