QuestionWe have an old ficus tree recently moved outside for the summer. Quickly about 20% of the leaves, both sides, have turned from dark green to almost pure white. Is this a problem, and what should be done? Thank you.
AnswerHi Fred ..your problem is a simple one, when moving a plant from in the house to outside you need to gradually move it into the sun or the leaves will burn and turn white. The new leaves that come out will adjust to the sun, you wont get the white ones green again.
