QuestionI have two sega plams in pots one ok the other yellow and brown. Looks like death on the way. When I checked the soil it was very wet even though it had not been water in guite sometime.Plants are three years old and residing in the Dallas area.
AnswerIf the plants have been outside, I would say the symptom you describe is cold injury. Random fronds will be straw colored. Wait until new growth comes out and then cut the dead fronds off. It is possible that they may have been overwatered, but I doubt it in pots. Just give it all the next growing season and it will begin to look good again. Good Luck.
