Question
I have a new oyster plant (rhoeo) and the pointed tips of it have gotten dry and can just be pinched off.  It is in my office under a flourescent light, and i've only had it for about a week.  Also, some of the longer leaves are starting to look limp, but not all of them?!  HELP!

Oyster plants, wandering jew and other names apply to this plant.  It likes outside environment in Florida and tropical climates.  If you are further north it may not survive in a pot left outside in the winter.  It likes sun and some shade.  My first impression is that either the light is too low or you may be overwatering the plant.  Check one of these two things and then change one at a time.  See if the plant begins to improve over the next two weeks.  Respond back with your results.  Good Luck.
